Chief of Staff
Currently serving as Chief of Staff, Dan operationalizes and champions the company’s strategic priorities in service of Cook Ross’ organizational growth. As Chief of Staff, Dan provides strategy and tactical support to the Cook Ross’ leadership team and spear-heads operations projects to build on and improve the company’s internal infrastructure and culture. Dan is passionate about social justice and community building as well as global affairs, finding his new position at Cook Ross a unique opportunity to address their intersection. He has previously interned at the Smithsonian National Museum of American History, the Washington Office on Latin America, the Racial Justice Project at the American Civil Liberties Union, and most recently at the Atlantic Philanthropies. Dan graduated magna cum laude from Middlebury College with a degree in political science in 2013.

What is your dream travel destination?
What’s the one thing in your life that’s really important to you but you never quite get to?
Learning new/keeping up with language studies. I took Mandarin Chinese for three years in College and traveled to China after graduating. Staying on top of my studies and retaining that language base has been a challenge.
What’s your favorite way to spend a rainy afternoon?
With a good book and pjs.
