In Her Own Words
What do you do (in 5 words or fewer)?
Transform organizations and empower individuals
What is your dream travel destination?
Barcelona Spain and Sydney Australia
What’s the best advice you ever got?
“Jump first and grow my wings on the way down; take the risk and trust that your proper planning will pay off.”
When your life is over, what would you like people to say about you?
That she “lived full, and died empty and that the world was a better place because she was here.”
What are you most proud of?
I am proud to have earned a Ph.D., published 2 books, honored to be a global thought leader; thrilled to be a former Ms. America United States; and proud to have achieved senior executive ranks in corporate America, but none of them top how proud I am to be a great mom to Gabrielle Victoria and to see the path that she is charting towards success in her life.
If you were an animal, what animal would you be and why?
An Eagle. They have vision and can fly at an altitude of 10,000 feet (higher than any other bird). They are very nurturing, they fly without flapping their wings, and they are rare–all characteristics of my nature and what has contributed to my success.
What’s your dream project?
To have a franchise of The Success Center around the country that teaches individuals and organizations how to soar to greatness.
