Director of Business Development
Ashley Gaddy leads Sales and Business Development at Cook Ross. Ashley brings a variety of knowledge and experiences in social justice education, client relations, corporate sales, and higher education to this role, which she believes will positively impact the client experience. Ashley works with the entire Cook Ross team to ensure the business development process from initial inquiry to close is performed in a manner that upholds the values of the company.
Prior to working at Cook Ross, Ashley served in several roles within Higher Education in areas such as Housing and Residence Life and Multicultural Affairs and most recently served as the Director of Intercultural and Inclusion Student Services at Coastal Carolina University. Ashley’s professional background started in corporate communications and has also branched into other academic areas, including serving in the classroom as an instructor.
Ashley received her Bachelor’s in Communication Studies and Master’s in Liberal Studies from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and is currently a doctoral candidate, defending fields: Postcolonial Feminism and Biopolitics in the Cultural Studies PhD program at George Mason University.
Ashley enjoys spending time with family and friends and her dog, Bobo, good food and live music!
