Before joining Cook Ross, Fiona built her HR expertise as a senior executive at Accenture and Lockheed Martin. She held leadership positions in recruitment, performance management, succession planning, leadership development and employee engagement in addition to diversity and inclusion. Fiona has launched and driven large-scale processes such as talent planning across 1,000+ senior executives, culminating in C-suite level action planning and succession discussions.
At Accenture, Fiona used her creativity to create and facilitate inclusion and leadership development programs for high potential women and minority senior managers that increased retention rates and supported significant cultural transformation. In 2000, she drove the business case to introduce domestic partner benefits to the US practice, and subsequently served as the sponsor for the award-winning Pride network, collaborating with HR colleagues in 30 countries to implement more inclusive policies.
Fiona consults in organizational strategy and culture, talent management and HR policy. She is also a leadership coach for individuals and teams, retreat facilitator, panel moderator and emcee for inclusion and diversity events.
Fiona lived in the UK, France, Germany and Tunisia before moving to the US in 1996. She has a Bachelor’s in History & Politics from the University of Birmingham, UK, a Master’s in HR from the University of Westminster, UK, and a Certificate in Leadership Coaching from Georgetown University.
