Karmen Belvin (She/Her)

Karmen Belvin is a Project Planner at Cook Ross. In her role, she works closely with the Client Experience team to assist Project Consultants with schedule planning and resource assignments for projects.
She has 10+ years of experience supporting projects, programs and assignments in various organizations such as higher education, health care systems, nonprofit organizations, and corporate sectors. Karmen plans to employ her previous experiences to support and advance the mission at Cook Ross where she is drawn to IDEA work because it aligns with her personal mission in life “to inspire, encourage and empower those around me”. She also believes that her passion and inclination to work from the heart is what is most important in her work, together with her philosophy of teamwork which can be coined by the popular saying that “teamwork makes a dream work”.
Karmen earned her Bachelor’s in Psychology at UNC- Charlotte and her Masters in Christian Education at Shaw University. She is currently pursuing her Master of Arts in Christian Leadership.
Most importantly, Karmen is a proud wife, mother of three and servant in her community. She enjoys spending time with her loved ones, traveling, scrapbooking, event/party planning and reading.
