Kelly Leonard serves as Director of Client Services. In her role, Kelly brings knowledge and expertise in developing a strategy to ensure the execution of revenue growth and the expansion of Cook Ross’ client base.
Kelly believes that when you love what you do (and who you do it with), you will never have to work a day in your life. People are her passion and she is drawn to the work of Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility (IDEA) because it is perfectly aligned with her life’s mission – to love people.
Kelly is a certified public accountant by trade and an entrepreneurial business leader with over 25 years of experience serving global enterprises, government agencies, non-profits, and private and public industries. Kelly’s work experience prior to joining Cook Ross includes CEO of Taylor-Leonard Corporation (T-LC), a training, coaching, and business development consultancy; Vice President-Relationship Manager at GE; and leadership roles at Kaiser Permanente and Price Waterhouse Cooper.
In commitment to her local community, Kelly is a member of Leadership Montgomery, serves on the board of the Council for Advocacy and Policy Solutions (CAPS), and Co-Founded Rise and Run; a candidate training program with a mission to support Black individuals to secure elected positions in Montgomery County, Maryland. She is also an author, podcaster, keynote speaker, consultant, and award-winning TV show host.
Kelly is a wife and mother of two young adults and holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Virginia Commonwealth University.
