Director of Center of Excellence
Laura Malinowski is a mission driven leader and professional coach. She has a proven track record identifying solutions to the challenges of small businesses in rapid growth, managing teams through change, and developing and implementing sustainable products, systems and processes that create results.
With Cook Ross since 2002, Laura has served in a variety of leadership roles to advance the company’s mission. She currently brings her operational creativity and passion for building business to her role as the Director of the Center of Excellence, leading alignment and cross-functional collaboration around the company’s objectives and core processes. Over 17 years, Laura has also served as the lead of the Special Projects team, the Project Management Office, and the Solutions Department. Through each of these roles she has aligned and empowered teams, created collaborative environments and proactively managed change with integrity, compassion and humor.
Laura is honored to serve on the Executive Committee for Stepping Stones Shelter in Rockville, MD. Her professional background includes the creation of a non-profit community organization, five years at Phillips Publishing International, and event deejaying.
A Washington, DC area native, Laura holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Maryland with a concentration in Theater & Film, as well as certificates in Change Management and Consulting. She is proficient in French and a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
