Merle Rockwell, BCC, PCC is a business executive, leadership coach and mediator specializing in workplace issues that arise in cross-cultural and diverse environments.  Merle’s background blends the professions of Alternative Dispute Resolution and Professional Coaching which includes professional mediation and arbitration, the founding executive directorship of a successful community-based conflict resolution center, group facilitation, trainer in courageous conversations, and conflict management coach.

She has successfully brought all of this work to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, coaching executives in their SES program, and state and local entities in their leadership development and management programs.  Merle coaches leaders in the US Department of Homeland Security, the Department of the Interior, NASA, General Dynamics, and not for profit and private sector businesses.

She has served on global committees for the International Coach Federation (ICF) and as a board member of the ICF Maryland Chapter. Currently, Merle is a member of the Conversations on Race Steering Committee for the Queen Anne’s County Multicultural Proficiency Committee and the Racial Equity Leadership Academy.  She serves as an appointee to the Queen Anne’s County Ethics Commission and Agricultural Reconciliation Board.
