Myla Watley is a spirited professional who is passionate about her role as an advocate for social justice, diversity, equity, and inclusion. As a Project Manager, Myla uses her strategic planning and organizational management skills to guide clients through the process of planning and executing their DEI initiatives.
Myla is a proud graduate of Hampton University and Georgia State University, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a Master’s degree in Public Policy, respectively. Prior to joining Cook Ross, Myla worked for nonprofit organizations to design and implement community-based programs that served to acknowledge and improve the social, economic, and environmental needs of underserved populations.
California born and Maryland raised, Myla is drawn to the oceans and outdoors. Outside of work, she enjoys a good run in the sun and can be found vacationing with family, socializing with longtime friends, or taking weekend getaways and binge-watching documentaries with her husband. Myla is also a lifetime member of the Pi Alpha Alpha Honor Society and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
