Nyki Caldwell is a diversity, equity and inclusion practitioner dedicated to fostering a society of greater understanding, authenticity and wellbeing. As a project manager at Cook Ross, Nyki guides clients through the initiation, planning, and execution of their DEI initiatives. She has worked with Fortune 500 companies across industries, particularly healthcare, education, government and nonprofit institutions.
Specializing in keynotes, train-the-trainers, and digital learning solutions, Nyki partners with clients to understand their needs and circumstances and to strategically execute a solution designed for optimal outcome. She also leads the account management of CultureVision, a subscription-based website that provides healthcare professionals with a database of information to inform culturally competent patient care.
Nyki has held several roles since joining the company as an intern in 2016. These roles include Special Assistant to Founding Partner, Howard Ross, and Partner and Chairperson, Leslie Traub, Client Services Coordinator and Interim Resource Manager.
Nyki is a graduate of Wake Forest University and holds a B.S. in health and exercise science and psychology. She attended Wake Forest on a full athletic scholarship on the women’s track and field team and is an ACC multi-champion in the woman’s high jump. Nyki is currently in training to become a certified yoga teacher, where she can continue her love for being active. As a City Year AmeriCorps alumna, she is dedicated to volunteering and mentors high school youth in her spare time. She is a native to Ann Arbor, Michigan, and equally considers North Carolina her homeland.
