Ryan Robison is extremely passionate about diversity & inclusion work and considers himself a “forever organizer.” He has nearly 15 years of professional project management and logistics experience, with a background in education, environment, civil rights, and LGBTQ activism.
Prior to joining Cook Ross as a Project Manager, Ryan was appointed by President Barack Obama in 2010 to serve as a political appointee at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency as Deputy Director of Scheduling to Administrator Lisa P. Jackson, and then Chief of Staff in the Office of Environmental Education. In this role, he directed operations for two Presidential environmental award programs for both educators and students.
Ryan has been playing violin for over 25 years and is also a singer with the Gay Men’s Chorus of Washington, DC. He has been living in Washington, D.C. for nearly 14 years, but will always be a Hoosier at heart.
Ryan has a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University – Bloomington, where he studied Music Education and Political Science.
