“Live for yourself and you will live in vain; live for others, and you will live again.”

 Bob Marley

Samantha Grom is an Instructional Designer at Cook Ross. In her role, she uses her expertise in adult learning and organizational development to design and maintain training solutions and especially enjoys working directly with clients to design customized learning solutions to meet their unique Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility (IDEA) needs. Sam holds a B.A. in Psychology from Gettysburg College, as well as a Masters in Organizational Leadership and Learning from George Washington University.

Sam’s passion to engage in allyship in solidarity with underserved communities has driven her to pursue work in this field. Sam is constantly amazed and inspired by the human ability to evolve, grow, and learn. She is drawn to the IDEA space because she likes to believe in the faith of humanity to evolve in a way that will allow every individual to feel seen, valued, and empowered. Sam believes that education is the key to making the world a better place, because as Maya Angelou said, “Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better.”

Sam is a curious lover of people with a passion for lifelong learning and making new friends. According to Sam, work should be done with authenticity, humility, and as part of a greater good. “Teamwork really DOES make the dream work!” When she isn’t collaborating with her colleagues to create transformative learning experiences with clients, you can find her on an adventure in the great outdoors, discovering new music, or curling up with a good book.
